Bennett, Nancy G. (Dobson), of Marshfield, passed away on April 11, 2016 at the age of 79. Nancy was the beloved mother of Susan and George Bitzas of Worcester, Linda and Kurt Schneider of Plymouth, Christine Bennett of Marshfield, Clifton and Stacey Bennett of New Hartford, NY, and Stephen Bennett of Marshfield and grandmother of Christopher, Nathaniel, Grace, Nicholas and Noah. Nancy was predeceased by her parents Emery and Viola Dobson, sisters Dorothy Bartlett and Barbara Dobson and brothers Robert and Donald Dobson.

Nancy was born and raised in Marshfield, where she raised her own family. For many years she ran a home daycare, being known as "Nana B" to the many children whose lives she touched. Nancy was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, enjoyed making jigsaw puzzles, stamp collecting and reading murder mysteries. Nancy also loved cooking and music. Above all, she loved her family dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at The First Congregational Church, 1981 Ocean Street, Marshfield. Interment will be in Winslow Cemetery.
