Nancy E. (West) DeBoe, 70, of Marshfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on July 4, 2024, after a long illness. Nancy was born in Holden, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Frederick L. West Jr. and Annette V. (Gaudreau) West. Nancy moved to Marshfield in 1965, graduated from Marshfield High School in 1972, and then Fitchburg State College in 1976. Nancy went on to teach for Marshfield Public Schools for over 30 years before her retirement in 2015.

Nancy is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Robert, her daughter, Elizabeth and Matt of Marshfield, MA and her son Ryan and Hannah of Marshfield, MA. She was the loving Grammy of four grandsons: Theo, Colin, Myles, and Calvin.

Nancy was always willing and never hesitated to check in on and help out her friends and family. She was a compassionate teacher who loved being around kids and teaching them how to read. She also loved reading and would have various library books scattered throughout the house. She loved to cook and bake and kept countless handwritten recipes of her favorite dishes. Throughout the years she loved spending summer days at Rexhame beach collecting sea glass. Her easy-going personality, positivity, kindness, thoughtfulness, and calming presence will be missed by all.

Nancy's ashes will be placed in the wall in the Couch Memorial Cemetery. Services will be private.
