Nancy L. (Scurrah) Flannery, of Marshfield, died peacefully on September 18, 2019 at the age of 79. Nancy was happily married to her lifelong husband and friend James Flannery for 56 years until his passing. Nancy leaves her children Donna St. Martin and her husband Paul of Marshfield, Christine Keup and her husband Mark of Marshfield, Elizabeth Phillips and her husband Judah of Winchester and Jim Flannery of Holyoke;
11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; She leaves her sisters Betty Connor, Muriel Martin, Dorothy Jones, Essie Scurrah; She is predeceased by siblings Ruth, Virginia, Barbara, Patricia, and Jim; many lifelong friends as well.

Nancy was completely devoted to her husband, Jim. Their early years were spent in Boston where they had their children and later Norfolk. Their retirement years were spent in Marshfield, where they felt blessed to live and enjoy the beauty of the South Shore as they continued to be close with and share wonderful times with family and friends.

Nancy also enjoyed reading, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, the beach and gardens.

There will be a "Celebration of Life" gathering at Nancy's home at 106 Boles Road in Marshfield from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 28th. Light Refreshments will be served.
