Howes, Nancy B. (Berkett), of Marshfield, passed away at home on January 27, 2017 at the age of 75.  Nancy was the beloved wife of the late George P. Howes and dear mother of Jane Silverman and her husband Paul of Marlboro, MA, and David Howes and his wife Cheri of Pembroke.  She leaves her grandchildren Laura, Connor, Madelyn, Wesley, Dallas, and Luke, her brothers John and Stephen Berkett, and her nephew, Alex.  She was very excited about a new grandson due to be born this summer.

Nancy was a middle school science teacher in Duxbury for many years and enjoyed managing the Marshfield Hills General Store during the mid-eighties.  She was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, as well as a volunteer at the Country Kitchen during the Marshfield Fair.  She also played an active role in running the concessions during the annual North River Arts Festival in Marshfield Hills.

A memorial service is being planned for early April at Trinity Church.
