Nancy K. McCarthy of Marshfield passed away November 16, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones, after a long battle with cancer. She was a loving mother to her sons Michael and Christopher Wasserman along with their spouses Nora and Hunter. Devoted Nana to Ryanne, David, Lianna, Lucas.

Nancy was a graduate of UMASS Amherst who then served as a Social Worker in the United States Army. She later attended and graduated from New England School of Law in Boston and maintained her own law practice until 2005. She continued her career at the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office until her retirement in 2022. Nancy was a devout Catholic who was very active in many parts of her church including the church's choir and Stephen Ministry at the Holy Family Parish in Duxbury, MA.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Parish Church, 601 Tremont Street in Duxbury followed by burial in the Couch Cemetery, Union Street in Marshfield.
