Nancy A. Woodgate of Marshfield passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025.  Born on March 12, 1930 in Albany, NY, Nancy was the daughter of the late Loisette and Charles A. Holmquist.  She grew up in Albany, NY and attended Albany Academy for Girls.  In 1968 Nancy and her late husband Robert moved their family to Scituate, MA from Hyde Park, NY.

Nancy is predeceased by her husband, Robert and two of her grandsons, Ryan Woodgate and Joseph Lopes.  Nancy is survived by her son, Robert (Brad) Woodgate, Jr. and his wife, Elaine Woodgate, of Duxbury; her daughter Wendy Francis and her late husband Colin, of Weymouth; Paige Silvia and her late husband, Jan of Holbrook; and Tracey Lopes and her husband Joseph of Carver.  She was a loving grandmother to Gregory Woodgate, Amanda Martin, Nicholas Woodgate, Jillian Woodgate, Garrett Francis, Craig Francis, Christin Schwartz, Danielle Silvia, Shauna Silvia, Corey Lopes, BreAnne Peardon, Dawn Lopes, Christie Lopes and Dennis Lopes.  Nancy is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and many close friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street in Duxbury on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.  Interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
