Obituary

LACONIA— Nang Neov, 66, passed away on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Nang was born on August 8, 1959, in Cambodia, to Ly Neov and Siphan Hak.

Nang's heart knew no bounds. She carried herself with grace, never revealing the hardships she faced. Nang's bravery and courage shone as she left her home country in war in search of a better life for her family. Though she didn't speak English, her determination to give her children and grandchildren greater opportunities never wavered.

Her radiant smile and infectious laughter could light up any room, leaving an impression that lasted long after she was gone. She welcomed everyone as if they were lifelong friends, always opening her home and making sure no one was ever left hungry.

Her devotion to her family was unwavering. She found joy in cheering on her grandkids at sporting events, celebrating holidays with family, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with those she loved most. In quiet moments, she delighted in her favorite Cambodian and Thai drama shows, a simple joy that brought her comfort and connection to her roots. Surrounded by love, Nang's warmth, generosity, and laughter will live forever in the hearts of all who knew her.

Nang is predeceased by her beloved Husband Saroeum Chea. Nang is survived by her by three sons, Narith Roeum and his partner Michelle Stanyan of Laconia, Kennedy Benjamin Neov-Roeum of Concord, California, and Justin Jamal Neov-Roeum and his fiancé Sarah Couture of Milton, VT; four daughters, Sally R.
