Natalie Charlotte (Staples) Henderson died peacefully the morning of March 25th, 2015. She left this world to join her late husband of 70 years Wilfred A. "Biff" Henderson and their two daughters, Diane and Cindy. She is lovingly remembered by her son Michael ( his wife Pamela) their children Erin, Becky, and Will, her son Donal, his children Brooks, Kara, and Kelley, her daughter Barbara Chandler ( her husband Carleton) their children Amy, Julie and Jocelyn and her daughter Betsy Pinkerton ( her husband Tom) their children Ryan and Lesley, and her 20 great grandchildren. Nat was born May 13, 1919, the daughter of Althea and Fred L. Staples, Sr. of Brant Rock. She raised her family in Marshfield, a town that she dearly loved. Nat's love of the ocean sustained her throughout her lifetime, first Bluefish Cove then Rexhame Beach where for over 50 years she was part of a group of ladies known as "The Beach Girls" who sat on the beach daily from early April until late October. To all who saw them, they were referred to as "the circle of friends". She was a life member of the First Congregational Church of Marshfield, a volunteer of Friends of South Shore Hospital and a member of the O.E.S. Rexhame Chapter. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and to those who knew her well, a "good friend". Her life will be celebrated by her family and friends at a memorial service to be held at a later date. Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. in Marshfield on Monday, April 20 from 4 to 7 p.m.
