Fernandes, Nicholas ?Nick? L., 95, of Marshfield, January 7, 2014. Loving father of Robert Fernandes of Marshfield, Elaine Powers of Halifax, and Nicholas L. Fernandes Jr. of Brockton. Son of the late Isadore and Maria (Correia) Fernandes. Brother to the late Joseph and Phillip Fernandes. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Cape Verde Island, Nicholas moved to Marshfield 1942. He worked as a laborer in the construction industry. Visiting hours will be on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield MA. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday January 14, 2014 at 8:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St Christine's Church 1295 Main St., Marshfield at 9:00 am. Interment will be in the St Mary's Cemetery, Scituate, MA.
