Nora A. "Nonie" E. (McNeil) Barclay, 76, a longtime resident of Duxbury, passed away on June 14, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  Beloved mother of Camie Barclay and her husband Kenny Calvin of Kingston, Christian Barclay and his wife Karen of South Weymouth, Erin Joseph and her husband Michael of Taunton, and the late David Barclay; Nora is the niece of Frances M. Murphy of Duxbury, and leaves a brother and sister in-law, Peter McNeil and his wife Leslie of Pembroke.

Nora was born and raised in Newton and was a graduate of the Newton Country Day School and Newton College, having earned a Master's Degree from Laboure College in Boston. Nora was an active parishioner at the Holy Family Church in Duxbury. Nora's steadfast devotion to her faith provided her strength and serenity throughout her life.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield.  The Funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street in Duxbury. Burial will be in the Holyhood Cemetery in Brookline.
