LaChimia, Olive L. (Wood), of Marshfield, passed away on July 31, 2016 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Frank LaChimia and dear mother of Denise Alexander of Marshfield, Pamela Fletcher of Plymouth, Stacy Curtis of Florence, MA, and Frank LaChimia Jr., of Plymouth. Predeceased by a sister Roberta and brother Vertna (Junior), Olive leaves her sister Mildred, brothers Arthur and James, 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Olive enjoyed caring for seniors and worked at Cardigan Nursing Home in Scituate for 26 years until retiring in 2003. Olive was a volunteer at the Marshfield Fair for 29 years and enjoyed vacationing and visiting her family in Maine, going out dancing and watching her friend Yankee Jack entertain. She dearly loved her dog Bandit.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield.
