Pamela Joy Pitts of Brant Rock passed away on January 26, 2026. Dear mother of Trevor Rolls, Amy (Rolls) Doyle, and the late Thomas Rolls, she was the cherished grandmother of Trevor Rolls, Jr, and his wife Jessica, Robbie, Clifton, and Olivia Rolls, Samantha Rolls, Peter Doyle, Rabecca Doyle, Rory Colman, Isabella Colman, and great-granddaughter Terah Rolls.
Pamela was born and raised in Cambridge. Her mother owned and operated a beauty salon, Pamela's Beauty Box, located on Magazine Street. Pamela spent lots of time there at the shop that was named for her. After hours, she would often enjoy doing her girlfriend’s hair and nails. Her parents built a summer cottage in Brant Rock Marshfield, and she loved spending weekends there. She married Thomas Rolls in 1963, they moved to Pembroke and had three children together. She spent the rest of her life on the south shore, never returning to Cambridge. The summer cottage became a year-round residence that she would eventually own. She lived there for the rest of her days.
Pamela had many skills and probably never undertook a task that she was unable to complete. She also spent the last 41 years of her life as a friend of Bill W. She helped many people but would ask for no praise. Pamela loved people. She was a vibrant soul, right up to the very end. She will always be loved and never forgotten.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
