Athanasiou, Pantases, (Ben), 82 of Pembroke, formerly of Marshfield, passed away following a courageous battle with dementia on March 4, 2024.  Ben was predeceased by his beloved wife, Linda, of 44 years and was the loving father to Tara Mustone and her husband, James, of Hanover and Lee Goddard and her husband, John, of Pembroke.  He was a devoted pappou and cherished his time with his grandchildren Mark, Nicole, John, and Robert.  He was the brother to the late Arthur Athanasiou of Norwell and the late John Thomas of Dedham. Ben is also survived by his sister-in-law, Diane Mattivello, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. with a prayer service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Rte. 139 in Marshfield. Interment will be at Couch Cemetery in Marshfield.  Contributions in Ben's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, online at ALZ.org
