Patricia Ann (McCarthy) Picco

Patti Picco, 62, of Marshfield passed away peacefully Friday evening December 21, 2018 after a difficult battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving and supportive husband Tim, daughter Jenna Enrico and her husband Leo of Westford, son Steven, sister Maureen Joyce and her husband Daniel, brother Michael McCarthy and wife Ellen. She was adored by mother-in-law Honey Picco, the entire Picco/O'Connell and Duff clans, Aunt and Uncle Clare and Paul Schrader, Uncle Edward Gorman and wife Mary, as well many loving cousins, sisters and brothers in-laws, many nieces and nephews, and friends near and far. We can rest easy knowing that Patti is now at peace with her first grandchild Jay Thomas Enrico, who passed away this past September.

Patti was born in 1956 to Bill and Joan McCarthy in the Montclair section of Quincy. After graduating from North Quincy High School class of 1974, Patti worked at State Street Bank for more than 20 years. She went on to work as an assistant to the Marshfield Town Clerk. In 2003, Patti won a contested race and was elected to the position of Town Clerk of Marshfield. She was very proud that 'Marshfield Picked Picco.' Some of Patti's happiest times were standing on the sideline of a field hockey or baseball field cheering on the Marshfield Rams, Merrimack College Warriors and Plymouth State Panthers. She was an active member of Marshfield Youth Baseball, Marshfield Club Soccer and MHS Booster Club.

Family and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Thursday December 27, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Marshfield. The Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018, for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main Street in Marshfield. Burial will be in the Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
