Patricia L. (Howard) Geraghty, of Marshfield, beloved wife of the late Frederick Geraghty, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family March 30, 2018 at the age of 92.

Patricia was born March 17, 1926, daughter to James and Anna Howard. Raised and educated in Boston she graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School in 1943.

Patricia was employed as a Book Keeper/Accountant for the telephone company. She and her husband Frederick enjoyed their day trips to New Hampshire, playing in their bowling league and spending time with their children and grandchildren. Patricia also enjoyed playing games, going on trips with the Council on Aging, reading and praying the rosary daily. Patricia was a dedicated parishioner at St Ann By the Sea Church.

Patricia is survived by her 6 loving children and their spouses, Patrick and Charlene Geraghty of Brockton, Kathleen Fay of Abington, Thomas and Lorraine Geraghty of Pembroke, Peter Geraghty of Rockland, Robert Geraghty of Quincy and Maureen and Patrick Rockett of Pembroke. Patricia also leaves 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday April 4, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home at 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St Ann By the Sea Church at 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Her burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Pembroke.
