Patricia A. Mellon

August 1, 1955 - February 7, 2022

Loving, dedicated mother to Shannon Mullin of Marshfield, caring daughter to the late James and Marion Mellon, giving and thoughtful sister to Paul Mellon and Susan Coppenrath, both of Marshfield, and the late Thomas, Robert, and John Mellon, all of Marshfield. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and dear friend to those she knew, especially those friends at Sunrise Beach, 11th Rd, Marshfield, MA.

Patty passed to be with the Lord from respiratory complications of the Covid virus. She was employed by The Christmas Tree Shoppe in Pembroke for 10 years. Patty grew up in West Roxbury and Marshfield.

Deep gratitude from the family to the incredible staff, Nurses and Doctors at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. Special love and appreciation to niece Kelli Teeple, RN, for her medical guidance and support during this difficult process.

Patty's wishes were to be cremated and her ashes to be released at a later date. A visitation of respect will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield, on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to "Patty's OHANA Memorial Fund" in Patty's memory. Donations to this fund can be mailed to Rockland Trust, 31 Snow Road, Webster Square, Marshfield MA 02050. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the summer.
