Patricia Ann (Murphy) Vaccaro, age 85, longtime resident of Auburndale and currently of Green Harbor, passed away on January 11, 2022. She leaves her beloved husband of 58 years, Joseph Vaccaro. Loving mother of Paul and wife Susan, Anne Sweeney and husband William, Theresa Roades and husband Bradley, and Rose Doherty and husband William. Devoted grandmother of Margarite and Samantha Vaccaro, Jenna and Cole Sweeney, Justine, Jake, and Ella Roades, and William, Erin, and Evan Doherty. She is also survived by her brothers John (Leo) and Charles Murphy; sister-in-law Louise Murphy; and is predeceased by a sister, Catherine Creighton. She was aunt to many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and God children.

Patricia had a love for her life in Green Harbor, where the family long-time summered, life at the beach, drinks on the deck, and watching her children grow up with the neighborhood families. She drew great joy from all of her grandchildren and cherished being known as "Grammy". She was extremely proud of her Irish heritage and loved being part of and center of celebrations. Along with her husband, her legacy will be remembered as "Sip and Chat with Joe and Pat."

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral procession to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, in Marshfield, where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial in the Cavalry Cemetery in Waltham will be private.
