Many family members and friends feel a great loss today at the passing of a vibrant and joyful man, Paul A. Bartoloni of Pembroke. Paul passed away on July 5, 2022 at the age of 82.
Paul was the beloved husband of Margaret (Macdonald) Bartoloni and loving father of MaryBeth Bartoloni and her husband Carl of California, Paul A. Bartoloni, Jr., of North Carolina, Keith Bartoloni and his partner Michelle of Seattle, the late Christopher Bartoloni, and daughter in-law Karen Coyne of Scituate. He was the cherished grandfather of Dillion, Aiden, Bella, Siena, Jamie, Brooke, Anthony, and Maxwell. Son of the late Charles and Catherine (Gordan) Bartoloni, Paul is predeceased by siblings Charles and Francis, but leaves a sister, Mary, of Norton, sisters in-law Janis Bartoloni, Christine MacCormack, Haley Davis, Robin Whitley and Katie McCarthy Sheehan Macdonald; brothers in-law Roy Macdonald, Andrew Macdonald, and John MacCormack, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Born in Boston, Paul attended St. Angela Elementary and graduated from Don Bosco High School. From his youngest years Paul was an adventurous soul. He enjoyed so much of what life had to offer and thought that everyone should. Photography, skiing, fishing, camping and traveling with his wife Margaret are just a few of those things. He also loved to spend time in more simple ways, such as sitting on his deck sipping his favorite drink and whistling with the birds. Serving up his version of chicken parmesan for the grandkids was always a special event. Paul will be dearly missed, but his family and friends will always remember him and smile.
A celebration of Paul's love of life by family and friends will be held at a date to be determined.
