Brouillard, Paul L., of Marshfield, passed away on October 17, 2015 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Arlene (Forristall) Brouillard. Dear father of Jane Kudcey and her husband Scot of Easton, and the late Deborah Aitken, Edward Brouillard, and Leslie Carlson. Brother of Rosalie Hovig of Marshfield and Carol Eklund of Oregon. Grandfather of Daniel, Gregory, and Matthew Carlson, and Laura and Katherine Kudcey.
Born in Boston in 1929, Paul served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps and was a distinguished recipient of both the World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal (Japan). Paul continued to serve after the War with the Boston Police Department and retired as a Sergeant in 1978. He was a member of the D.A.V. Chapter 35 in Marshfield, the Boston Police V.F.W. Post 1018 in Mattapan, the American Legion Post 223 in Duxbury, the Knights of Columbus John Williams Council #1308 in Roslindale, and the Marshfield Elks Lodge #2494.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from the hours of 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home in Marshfield. Funeral services will commence on Thursday, October 22 at 9:00 AM at MacDonald Funeral Home for a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield. Interment will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
