Obituary
Paul W. Coyman, of Marshfield, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the age of 59. He was born and lived in South Boston, MA until moving to Marshfield where he was a long-term resident until 2019. He graduated from Marshfield High School in 1980. Paul spent several years working with his father at their family muffler shop in Brockton. He later opened up his own business, "The Shop" in Marshfield, where he fixed cars for many locals, family, and friends. Aside from his love of cars, Paul loved watching the New England Patriots, riding his many Harley Davidson motorcycles, and being out on the ocean. He recently moved to New Hampshire to his farmhouse to enjoy the peaceful outdoors.
Paul was preceded in death by his father and U.S. Navy Veteran, Edward F. Coyman; his mother Helen A. (Garvey) Coyman; and his sister Carole Sullivan (Coyman). He is survived by his daughter, Jill A. Coyman and his brother Edward Coyman Jr. He is also survived by his niece and nephews, Sarah McCarty, Andrew Griffin, and Bradford Coyman, as well as their children.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2021 from 4PM-7PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield, and will conclude with a private burial.
