Klier, Paul J. 84, of Marshfield, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2015. Beloved husband for 62 years of Dorothea A. (Maloney) Klier. Devoted father of Paul J. Klier Jr., Linda Caswell, Susan Wieners, Marion Messina and Stephen Klier. Brother of Marilyn Girouard, William Klier, Patricia Miller, Janice Crowley, Joan Gianniani, Dorothy Harmon, Robert Klier, the late Joseph, George and Kenneth Klier. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Mr. Klier began working for the Boston Globe in 1958 and retired 34 years later in 1992. He began his career in the Composing Room, became Superintendent and retired as a member of the Production Department. The fondest memories of Paul Klier are on his Catamaran while on Cape Cod Bay where he owned a home in Eastham. Paul was a veteran of the Korean War.
