Paul V. Sheehan of Marshfield passed away suddenly on January 12, 2021 at the age of 54. Beloved son of Patricia Sheehan-Ellis of E. Falmouth and the late Daniel J. Sheehan; loving father of Katie Sheehan and Colleen Sheehan of Marshfield; dear brother of Daniel Sheehan and his wife Cindy, Brian Jones, Kerry Sheehan Kawalick and her husband Marc, Maureen Sheehan, and Kathleen (Katie) Sheehan. Paul also leaves many nieces and nephews Kayla, Ayaka, Danny, Andrew, Kelsey, Evan, and Ella, and his former wife and friend, Jennifer Sheehan.

Paul was the US Postmaster for the North Pembroke and Marshfield Hills Post Offices. He was a diligent worker for the US Postal Service for 32 years. Many times, on his way home from working on Martha Vineyard and Nantucket, he would stop by to visit his beloved mother, especially for his favorite, meatloaf.

He was the biggest supporter at his daughter Colleen's sports games and so proud of his daughter Katie's artwork for the 150th anniversary celebration of the North Pembroke Post Office. He was an avid Patriots' fan and known for his love of dogs, especially Felix and Cole. Paul, or Paulie as his dad and friends would call him, graduated Scituate High school in 1984. He was the jokester of his siblings and always loved to make people laugh. His quick wit and comedic sense of humor will forever be missed by all.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Nativity Parish Church, 1 Kent Street in Scituate. Please note that face coverings are required and social distancing guidelines in effect at the church. Interment will be private.
