Paula J. (Moraites) Fine, 70, of Marshfield passed away after a period of declining health on February 8, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Marshall Fine of Marshfield and mother of Michael John Cragin of E. Freetown; cherished grandmother of Kassidey and Nirvana Cragin; loving aunt of Aidan and Alanna Thompson and many other nieces and nephews: great-aunt of Macy Rose and Charlotte Ann; dear sister of Kenneth (Bunny) Lennon of S.C., Mary (John) Iacobucci of W. Wareham, Peter (Sheila) Moraites of N.C., Michael (Dannie) Moraites of Colorado, John (Marie) Moraites of Florida, the late Rita Thompson and the late Karen McDonald.

Those who were fortunate enough to know Paula, loved Paula. She was a provocative individual with a raucous laugh and a Hollywood smile that could brighten the darkest of days. Spiritual and sincere in addition to having a unique sense of humor, she was a great listener and audience for her husband Marshall's silly jokes. This was his Paula – a dedicated, loving partner and staunch defender who brought a special kind of magic to every minute of their 30+ years together. She will be missed more than words can express.

Paula was a special lady and a wonderful mother and provider to her son Michael. There were day trips to Boston Garden for wrestling events, weekends spent at the beach, and each Christmas filled with joy and homemade decorations. She was an amazing cook – "second to none" as Michael would say – and an avid self-taught gardener who took great pride and pleasure in her beautiful gardens. Paula was devoted to her family and they were all the richer for it. Her memory will live on in our hearts and dreams always.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. All are welcome to attend.
