Dear father of Peter Smith of Middleboro, Edward Smith of Fall River and Christine Smith of Marshfield. Loving grandfather of Rachel, Peter and Stephen Smith. Brother of Catherine J. Iafrate (Al) of Portsmouth, RI, Mary B. Collins (Harold) of Somerville, Anne M. Walters of Marshfield, George J. Smith (Eileen) of Humarock, Paul M. Smith (Alice) of Mansfield and the late Barbara M. Hebert (Jack) of Foxboro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, and extended family in Ireland and Boston. Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., (Rte. 139) Marshfield, Saturday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Christine's Church at 11:00 a.m. Visiting hours on Friday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery, Marshfield.
