Peter J. Svirsky, III, of Marshfield, passed away on April 29, 2018 at the age of 47. Beloved husband of Darlene (Bent) Svirsky and brother of Michael Svirsky and longtime girlfriend Hosze To of Harwich, Brother in law to Joyce and Sean Proctor of Plymouth, son of the late Peter J. Svirsky, Jr., and Mary P. (McCarthy) Svirsky. Son in-law to Doreen and James Bent of Halifax.

Peter was educated in Marshfield and a graduate of Marshfield High School Class of 1989. Currently he was employed at Twin River Technologies in Quincy.

Peter was devoted to his family and held his nephew Zachary and niece Emily close to his heart. He was active in attending all their sporting and academic events, and they brought an abundance of joy into his life. He was an avid sports fan and was a passionate Boston and Detroit Redwings fan. He enjoyed many years playing and coaching softball.  Peter left a lasting impression with whomever he met.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. Funeral procession from the funeral on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass to be held in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield. Burial will be in the Couch Cemetery.
