Peter S. Young of Pembroke passed away unexpectedly at home on September 29, 2022 at the age of 57. He leaves his children Ashley Elizabeth Young and Jack Peter Young, both of Pembroke; his companion Alice Poole; former wife Kimberly Ann Holt.  He is the beloved son of Marcia (Craig) and Richard Young and nephew of Jack "Bub" Craig, and is predeceased by his brother, Stephen Young.

Peter was a Marshfield native, growing up on Dundee Drive and Longview Terrace. He has resided in Pembroke for the past 25 years. Peter worked in the Automotive industry as a Service Manager for Petar's Automotive in Quincy. For the past 10 years, Peter took on paper routes and worked at multiple Dunkin' locations in Pembroke and Marshfield, where he was adored by many. Most recently he could be spotted doing deliveries for Oak Street Grill in Pembroke. Peter was fortunate to have an unbreakable bond throughout his life with a group of friends known as the "Vet-rens". They know who they are.

Peter loved rock 'n' roll and all types of music and took many of us to countless concerts. He was someone who would give the shirt off his back to someone in need and would go above and beyond for his dear friends and loved ones. He was unconditionally devoted to his daughter Ashley and his son Jack.

Peter went out of his way to express his love to his family and friends every day. He was kind and generous to friends and strangers alike and took great joy in making people smile. Peter was like a force of nature, with a larger-than-life personality that so many adored. He will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are all welcome to join the family at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. to remember and honor the life of our dear father, son, partner and friend.
