Phyllis M. (DiMattia) Antonino entered peacefully into eternal life on Christmas Day. She was the beloved wife of 50 years to Peter J. Antonino and mother of Michelle Connolly and her husband Derek Connolly, and was the cherished Nannie to her loving grandchildren Allaina, Marissa, and Sabrina.
Born in Boston's North End to the late Sabino and Mary (Puopolo) DiMattia, Phyllis was the beloved sister of Philip DiMattia and his wife Geraldine and the late John DiMattia and Nancy Isotti. She is also survived by loving and devoted nieces and nephews and dear friends Gloria Leone and Russell and Corinne Gasdia.
Phyllis was a 1952 graduate of Carney School of Nursing and enjoyed a 42-year career which she loved as a Registered Nurse.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and will conclude with a Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Phyllis will be laid to rest with a Graveside Service on Friday, December 31 at 11:00 a.m. in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
