Thomas, Ralph L., of Duxbury, passed away on October 23, 2016 at the age of 52. Ralph is the beloved son of David K. and Patty L. (Johnson) Thomas, Jr., of Florida; dear father of Katelyn and Andrew Thomas, both of Duxbury; grandson of Ruby Johnson of California; brother of Robin Thomas of Kingston. Ralph also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Ralph went to The University of New Haven on a football scholarship. He was a graduate of the California Culinary Academy and a member of the American Legion in Duxbury. He was an avid sports enthusiast who coached youth baseball, football, and track. He also ran the concession stand at Duxbury Youth Football and Baseball games. Ralph was a devoted father whose pride and joy were his children, Katelyn and Andrew.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street in Duxbury.
