Obituary

Reed M. Straub, 40, of Pembroke passed away on August 14, 2019. Reed leaves behind his loving wife of 17 years, Elizabeth (Quinlan) and three beloved children, Cole M., Sydney J., and Madison E. Straub, all of Pembroke; son of Henry (Ted) Straub of Middleboro and Mary Wall of RI. Brother of Keith and Nathan Straub, brother in-law to Edward J. Quinlan and dear son in-law of Edward F. and the late Julie Quinlan.

Reed was a hardworking family man who loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing, skiing, golfing and cooking. He was a dedicated father, spending all of his free time with his children and enjoyed coaching and watching them play sports. Additionally, he was very passionate about his job doing construction for over 20 years. He will be lovingly remembered for his unmistakable voice and charming dimples.

Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 24 2019 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Reed Straub Memorial Fund to benefit the Straub children's education at any Rockland Trust Bank branch location.
