Perfetti, Renato "Renny" F. of Scituate, formerly Marshfield, succumbed to his disease of addiction on December 18 at the age of 35. He was the loving father of Tess Alexandra Perfetti and dear son of Mark P. and Karen M. (Burns) Perfetti of Scituate. Dear brother of Kate Perfetti of Dorchester and Rebecca Prange and her husband Mason of CA. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and survived by Tess' mother, Lauren Vitali and sister Chloe Vitali. Renato was born and raised in Marshfield. He graduated from Marshfield High School, class of 1998. Renato worked in landscape construction for many years. Important to Renato during times of sobriety was sharing his story in hopes of helping others battling the disease of addiction. He was a frequent speaker at support groups, outreach programs and vigils. Renato enjoyed boating, the beach and spending time with his family at their beach house in Humarock. Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Sunday, December 21 from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, December 22 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St. in Scituate at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held in Couch Cemetery.
