Richard 'Rick' E. Boardman, of Brockton, MA formerly of Dedham, MA passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 18, 2020. He was born on Dec. 3, 1966 in Brighton, MA to Sandra Sanford and the late Richard E. Boardman.

Rick is survived by his mother Sandra Sanford, his life partner Venice Mazarakis, his daughter Samantha B. Knight, his grandson August B. Epstein, sister of the late Tracy Puopolo, uncle of John Puopolo Jr., godfather of Katherine Puopolo, great uncle of Penelope Puopolo, cousin of Shauna McCarty and the late Big Rick Sanford and brother in-law of Adam Puopolo.

Rick's laughter was infectious and his smile contagious. His heart was larger than life, always there for anyone in need. His love was unconditional for his Mother, daughter, grandson, nephew, niece and great niece. He loved music & sports, especially the Patriots. He had been very active in his 12 step recovery group also inspiring others.
