Richard C. Anderson "Dick", of Marshfield, MA, age 77, passed away peacefully in his home, on June 19, 2018, surrounded by family. He was the loving husband of Dianne (Butler) Anderson of 58 years. Dick proudly served in the US Army on The Arctic Test Board in Alaska, was a member of Teamsters Local 25, and worked for Atlas Oil Corporation for 35 years. An avid motorcyclist, Dick enjoyed many road bound adventures with his wife and good friends, Jeanne and Jim. Dick's happiest moments were those spent with his family.

Dick was the brother of William, Charles and the late Judith. He was the father of the late Guy F. Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife Dianne, and their family. Daughter Tammy Tavares, her husband Peter, and their children Shawn (wife Erika), Alexandra (husband Nicholas), and Deanna. Daughter Robin Anderson, her husband Bill, and their children, Jeremy, April and Damien.  Daughter Dawn Lukan, her husband Justin, and their children, Sarah and Cristin. Daughter-in Law Michelle Anderson, and children, Felecia and Nikki. Also, his four great-grandchildren Lukan, Jay, Angela and Skylar.

Visiting hours will be at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Dick can be made to the Norwell Visiting Nurses and Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell MA, 02061.
