Richard J. Ianniello, originally from the Bronx, NY and a long time Duxbury resident, who raised a family here, passed away on October 31st from complications of a stroke and aspirated pneumonia. He was 94.
Richard loved baseball and music and was a very accomplished accordion player. He was a member of the 7th Regiment National Guard, also known as the 'Silk Stocking Brigade' during the Korean War.
A kind and extremely generous man with a good sense of humor, he will be remembered as a great father and husband who always put his family first before himself.
Richard will join his beloved wife and son, Eva and Daniel, respectively, at Mayflower Cemetery. He leaves behind a son, David Ianniello.
