Richard K. Maloney of Duxbury, formerly of Roslindale, MA passed away peacefully October 28th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family in Plymouth, MA. He was the son of Richard Daniel Maloney and Audrey Marie Salerno. Richard was the brother of Mary Ellen George Sexeny. He was the beloved husband to Deborah L. Maloney, with whom he shared a wonderful life of thirty-six years filled with love and companionship. Together they raised a daughter, Jaime L. Maloney and a son, Daniel K. Sanford.

Richard had such a colorful zest for life. He loved to dance and was a very passionate man. He had a love for music, cooking, skiing, bowling and racquetball. He cherished his time spent with family and loved ones. He loved to entertain, especially for the holidays. It made him so happy to see everyone together enjoying special time and creating beautiful memories. He was well traveled with an adventurous spirit. His quick wit and sparkling smile will be remembered by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him.

Richard is survived by his two children, Jaime and Dan, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
