Purpora, Richard N., of Marshfield, passed away unexpectedly on June 6, 2016 at the age of 53. Beloved husband of Diane (Coletti) Purpora and father of Gina Purpora. Dear brother of Judy Campanale of Weymouth, Jean Allman of Florida, Janet Tantillo of California, Lauren Abbondandolo of Stoughton, and Paul Purpora of New Hampshire. Richard leaves a brother in-law, Richard Coletti of Wareham, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Mionnette (LaPointe) and Leonard Purpora.

Rick was the President and Owner of Stone Age Construction Company in Marshfield MA. He was a kind hearted person, loved life, cooking for his family and friends, boating, fishing and hunting. He was an amazing husband and Dad, a fabulous brother, a devoted son and everyone's friend.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield, and will conclude with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.
