Richard William "Hockey" Shean, of Plymouth, MA, passed away Monday, March, 27, 2023 at home. Husband of the late Gail Anne Shean, he is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Anne Shean of Marshfield and his son Michael Richard Shean and his significant other Beverly of Kingston; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Blair and his wife Kelli of Marshfield, Brittney Blair of Phoenix, AZ and Amanda DiCarlo and her husband Robert of Plymouth, as well as 4 great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

Born in Worcester, son of the late Anita Park and the brother of the late Jack Shean and Joanne Hurley, he was a graduate of UConn and Boston University and had worked as a medical equipment salesperson until his retirement.

Richard loved his family very much and was a big hockey fan, he spent his time cheering on his beloved children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the Boston University Terriers.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday April 3, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his name to Marshfield Veteran's Services, 870 Moraine Street Marshfield, MA 02050.
