Wilkinson, Richard T. Of Green Harbor (Marshfield), formerly of Quincy, April 14, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie (Packard) Wilkinson. Dear father of Richard T. Wilkinson Jr. and Jessie of Quincy, Deborah Vennard of Marshfield, Edward Wilkinson and Susan of Marshfield and Diane Foley and Thomas of Marshfield. Grandfather of Julia Wilkinson, Blake Vennard, Nicole Filion, Kerry Wilkinson, Megan Foley and Paul Foley. Great grandfather of Ella and Tess Vennard and Max Filion. Brother of Robert Wilkinson of CT., Carol Bangs of Carver and the late John Wilkinson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Richard was an Elevator Mechanic for Payne Elevator Co. where he worked for 28 years before retiring in 1988. Previously worked for the New Haven R.R. He was a member of Local Union #4, an Avid golfer and a true fan of sports. He was a member of Green Harbor Golf Course in Marshfield and Squirrel Run Golf Course in Plymouth. Mr. Wilkinson was a member of the former Atlantic Memorial Congregational Church in No. Quincy, where he served as a Deacon and a Sunday School Teacher. Veteran US Navy WW II. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday in the First Congregational Church of Marshfield 1981 Ocean St at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday from 4 to 8 PM in the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St (Rte 139) Marshfield. Interment in the Couch Cemetery, Marshfield.
