Yahoub, Richard J., of Marshfield, passed away on July 11, 2015 at the age of 87. He was the dear brother of Samuel F. Yahoub of VT, Stanley T. and Patricia Yahoub of Pembroke, Ann and Donald Kelley of Kingston, and was survived by many nieces and nephews.

Born in Boston to the late Thomas and Victoria (Williams) Yahoub, Richard was a graduate of Roslindale High School and a U.S. Army Air Force Veteran. He lived for a time in New York and worked as a Certified Public Accountant but returned to Marshfield to care for his parents. While living in Marshfield, Richard was employed as Maintenance Supervisor for the Marshfield Police Department. Richard enjoyed gardening and swimming at the YMCA in Hanover. He was a treasured volunteer at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth who in April received his 15-year "Star" award for his work there. Richard dedicated so much of his time helping others. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte 139), Marshfield. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, July 15 at 12:00 Noon at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield.
