Davis, Rita A. (Allen) of Marshfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on November 4, 2015. Beloved wife of 50 years to Richard Davis. Dear mother of Katie Haley and her husband Don of Kingston, Rich Davis and his wife Tiffany of Connecticut, Matthew Davis and Michael Davis, both of Marshfield. Sister of Bette Brosnahan of Easton, Mary Bixby of Marshfield, John Allen of Uxbridge, and Frederick Allen of Florida. Rita leaves her cherished grandchildren Erin, Maura, Margaret, Luke, Olivia, and Macklin.

Rita was born in Cambridge but was raised in Dorchester and proud of her Irish heritage. Rita and Richard resided in Marshfield for 48 years and raised their family here. Rita always put her family first and loved nothing more than spending time with them.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield. Funeral from the funeral home Tuesday, November 10 at 9:00 for a 10:00AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield. Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery, Union St, Marshfield
