Connolly, Robert J. of Hull, passed away on December 29 at the age of 69. Loving father of Christopher Connolly and his wife Jeanie of FL. Dear brother of Maureen Christani and her husband Dino of Halifax, Karen Gellert and her husband Barry of CA, Clare Krzyzewski and her husband Paul of Marshfield and Edward Connolly and his wife Nancy of NJ. Son of the late James A. and Helen (McCarthy) Connolly. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Robert was born in Boston. He was a graduate of Weymouth High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from the USAF Academy in Colorado. Robert served in the US Air Force as a Captain during the Vietnam War. He proudly served his country for 9 years from 1963 to 1972.

A visiting hour will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Tuesday, January 6 from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by an interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 11:30 a.m.
