Robert E. Dempsey, Jr., 88 of Plymouth and formerly of Marshfield, passed away peacefully on January 26th at Southwood Nursing Home. Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Aimee "Julie", daughters Carol O'Brien and Ellen Spain, son Thomas Dempsey, 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and brother David Dempsey of Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by his son, Robert E. Dempsey III.

Bob's life was filled with love of family and friends. He was also the ultimate salesman, and spent his career selling medical and surgical supplies. Bob was always very involved with church and community affairs. His spare time was enjoyed on the ski slopes and in later years on the golf course.

A celebration of his life will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 229 Highland Street, Marshfield Hills, on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
