Doherty, Robert K., of Marshfield, passed away suddenly at home on April 5, 2015. Loving son of Patricia A. (McCarthy) Doherty and the late Robert K. Doherty, he is survived by his brother Matthew Doherty of Marshfield, his two uncles James McCarthy and Richard D. Doherty, his aunt Elaine Liendo, as well as many other loving relatives, and was the beloved grandson of the late James and Helen McCarthy and Charles and Thelma Doherty.

Robert was born in Boston and raised in Marshfield, he was a graduate of Boston College class of 1991. Robert worked for Markings, Inc. of Pembroke for more than 10 years. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Rte 139, Marshfield on Sunday, April 12 from 1 to 5 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann's By the Sea Church, 591 Ocean Street Marshfield on Monday, April 13, at 10:00 AM.

Interment will be held at a later date.
