Robert John Dryer, III, 61, of Randolph, passed away on September 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Dorchester to the late Dolores (Bigwood) and R.J. Dryer, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Darlene (Sipola) Dryer; sons Brandon and Shawn Dryer; mother in-law Mary Sipola; and his beloved Schnauzer, Noodle. Brother in-law of Tricia and Rich Hoesel of Idaho; uncle of Kevin Sipola, Jr. and his wife, Sarah, of Attleboro; he leaves a sister, Jennifer Cleary and her husband Kevin of Whitman, a brother, Tom Dryer of Holbrook, a brother Paul Dryer and his companion Deborah Nicoli and her two children Sarah and Brendon of Marshfield; also survived by his nieces, Mykayla, Kristina, and Abigail.
Bob graduated from Braintree High School and went on to receive his Associate's Degree from Boston State. Bob was a beloved husband, father, brother, friend, gearhead, and political activist who always put others before himself. He worked as a Telecommunications Analyst at Bank of Boston for many years. Later in life he could be found wrenching on motorcycles in his garage or at campaign headquarters serving as Technology Director for numerous Massachusetts campaigns including U.S. Senator Scott Brown and Governor Charlie Baker, and many down ballot candidates.
Visiting of hours will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield. Burial will be in Carver Central Cemetery, Carver MA.
