Farley, Robert J., of Marshfield, died suddenly on December 11, 2015 at the age of 80. Husband of the late Constance Farley, Robert leaves his long-time companion, Florence O'Neill, his son Robert "Jay" Farley, Jr. of Marshfield, a sister, Barbara Washburn of Florida and a brother Richard Farley of Marshfield, and his three grandchildren Ryan, Cassie, and Lauren. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Farley of East Bridgewater.

Robert was born in Rockland to the late Vincent and Gertrude (Mahoney) Farley. Robert was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a successful Banker and Businessman. He was Co-Founder of the Miles Standish Credit Union and served on the Board of Directors at Abington Savings Bank. Robert also owned the North River Beverage Company for 32 years.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Route 139, Marshfield. Funeral from the funeral home at 8:00 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 17, 2015 AT St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main Street, Marshfield. Interment will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Abington.
