Robert was a 1947 National Honor Society graduate of Emerson High School in Union City, NJ. He attended New York University and studied accounting prior to enlisting in the U.S. Army Air Corp, now known as the U.S. Air Force, in 1948.  Bob served in Korea, Libya, and Japan as an in-flight radio operator and then became an instructor and worked in communications. He served 20 years in the Air Force and rose to the rank of Chief Senior Master Sargent. After retirement from the service, he worked for several firms including RCA, Litton Industries, and the Kingston Corporation to name a few, where he wrote technical manuals for computer operations. When he became unable to travel, the family came to him annually for large reunions. He enjoyed playing cribbage and pinochle, line dancing, dining out, and making latch hook rugs. Bob traveled the world both in the Air Force and after in retirement from corporate work.
