Robert Mastergeorge was born in Middletown Connecticut, to Frank and Anna Mastergeorge. He graduated from Xavier High school in Middletown and studied business at Central Connecticut State College. Known as Bob, or Bobby to his close friends, he married Kathleen Morello of Middletown, CT in 1975. Bob built a 50-year career in the women's shoe business, including running Prague Shoe Co. in CT, a wholesaler at Genesco Shoes in Nashville, and eventually settling in Massachusetts as a top salesman and shoe designer for Bennett Footwear and Calares Shoe Co. Bob loved to work, and continuously brought in record sales numbers until his retirement in 2017. He continued his passion for the footwear industry by joining Italian Shoemakers Inc as their Executive Sales Director, post-retirement. Throughout the industry, and amongst his family and closest friends, he was known for his dry sense of humor and pointed honesty. Everyone who knew him has a story they have shared a hundred times and will continue to do so. He was a life-long fan of UConn Basketball, and never missed a Yankee game. He loved to take care of his lawn and enjoyed taking his dogs Mork and Beni for walks. Bob was a loving husband, father, friend, and mentor who will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife Kathleen Mastergeorge, his two sons Bret and Bryan, his daughter in-law Niki Fandel, several brother and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews, and his friends Mork, Beni, and Bear.

An open house memorial service will be held at the family home on Friday October 26 ^th at 3 Damons Point Cir, Marshfield Ma. Hours are from 1pm-4pm, refreshments will be provided.
