Bob was also a man of many talents and interests.
Growing up, Bob worked at the Boston Garden and always had stories to tell about those times. Bob was a huge Boston Bruins fan and he and his daughter, Elizabeth were always excited to attend countless Bruins games together. In his younger days, Bob also worked at a bakery, and in his later days, he enjoyed cooking and baking for his family. He was a REALLY good cook. Bob also loved the ocean but not the beach per se. He loved to spend time fishing with friends and he taught both of his children all about fishing.
Bob enjoyed many family trips to Foxwoods, hosted by his mother in law, Barbara Tripp, where he would spend hours at the poker tables. But Texas Hold'em was his favorite game. He would host many card games at the house with all of his friends. Bob also loved family game night.
Bob loved to travel and had many plans. He with his daughter Elizabeth had plans to travel and watch the Boston Bruins play at every rink. His favorite vacation spots included Walt Disney World and Santa's Village. Bob also loved animals and he and Helen welcomed many loving pets into their home. One of Bob's favorite ways to spend Sundays was to travel to the city and enjoy Dim Sum with his daughter. He was also an artist and enjoyed drawing.
Bob loved his work as a plumber and was always helping people. He loved the title of being 'Bob the Plumber'. Although Bob is not a Townie from birth, everyone in Marshfield knew him and loved him. Bob had a heart of gold and loved helping his neighbors and anyone he could.
Bob was the life of the party and loved to make others comfortable through laughter. Everyone knew they could call at any time and Bob would be there to help. If he was running late that was because he was so thorough or because he stayed to chat. Hard working and friendly - that's who he was. In the end, he would always make sure to get the job done. Bob was very giving with his time and energy.
In his Marshfield neighborhood, Bob was always up for games, like an adult kid. He loved having water balloon fights with his two nephews, Stevie and Mikey Moreau. Bob got slingshots just so he could shoot the water balloons over the neighbors houses to sneak attack his nephews in their nearby yard. Bob also loved his neighbors. He enjoyed cookouts and movie nights and making smores with everyone. He loved to play Shuffleboard in his backyard and was the best sport about his losing streak. He also enjoyed any activity he could do with his son Sam. He taught him how to ride a bike, roller skate and Dominoes just to name a few. Bob loved to play games and spend time with this family, friends and neighbors.
Bob had more life to live but he did live his life each day to the fullest. Bob will be missed by many.
