Robert A. Mellon of Marshfield, Aug. 27, at the age of 58. Loving father of Michael Mellon of Attleboro, Melissa Mellon of Mansfield and Kelli Teeple of Marshfield. Grandfather of five grandsons, Steven, James, William, Damien and Jack. Son of the late James and Marion Riordan Mellon. Brother of Paul Mellon, Susan Coppenrath, Patricia Mellon, all of Marshfield and the late Thomas Mellon and the late John Mellon. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in Boston, Robert was a self-employed boat mechanic and had lived in Marshfield for many years. A funeral service will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., (Rte. 139), Marshfield on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in the St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury.
