Robert Paul Shepardson born on Christmas day in 1927 and passed away on September 28th 2022, with three of his children by his side. He lived 94 rewarding years. Husband of the late Irene Shepardson whom he was married to for over 50 years. He's survived by his sons James and wife Yenju Shepardson of Texas, William and wife Patricia Shepardson of Indiana, and daughter Dorothy Carlson of New Hampshire. He was predeceased by his son Edward Shepardson. Robert was the grandfather to 10 beloved grandchildren, as well as 17 great grandchildren.

Robert served in the Military during the mid 1940's, as a Medical technician. He graduated from Holy Cross College with a degree in history, then went on to receive a Masters in Social Work from Boston College. He spent 50 years working for the Veterans Administration giving back to fellow veterans and their families.

Robert had a knack for photography and loved documenting the world through photos. Robert had a true passion for history and loved to learn. He was an active member of St. Christine's Church and spent countless hours building his relationship with the community. Robert will be missed dearly and will hold a special place in many many hearts.

The viewing will be held at MacDonald Funeral Home in Marshfield, MA on Sunday, October 2nd from 3:00pm - 5:00pm.

a.m. The burial will follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA, where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife.
