Robert A. Svizzero of Kingston passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness, at the age of 76.

Robert is survived by his son, Robert A. Svizzero of Natick and his daughter, Marsha Svizzero Crowell and her husband Michael of Pembroke. Loving brother of Toni Barry of Marshfield, Laurel Svizzero of Boston, Kentucky, and Leslie Svizzero Hajjar of Quincy. Former husband of Marsha Lee of Duxbury and Kathleen Creed of Marshfield. Beloved Grandfather "Papa" of John and Luca Svizzero of Ashland, and Myles, Travis, Ayla, Jenna & Nina Crowell of Pembroke. Loving Uncle to Nicole Barry of Stoneham, Paul Barry and his wife Karen of Kingston, and Blair and Mark Hajjar of Quincy. He leaves great nieces and nephews as well. Preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Svizzero and Lillian (Blair) Svizzero of Weymouth.

Robert was born in Quincy and graduated from Weymouth High School in 1968. Robert "Bob" was a General Contractor by trade and worked prior, for years, at The Quincy Shipyard and New England Telephone Company.

Robert was an avid fisherman and member of the Green Harbor Tuna club and Green Harbor Yacht Club in Marshfield. In addition, he spent countless hours amongst wonderful friends at the Green Harbor marina. Robert "Bob" was also remembered for his love of music, humor and infectious laugh.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and concluding with a Funeral Service at 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, beginning with a Boat Parade through the Green Harbor waterways (anyone with a boat is invited to participate) and concluding with a reception from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Green Harbor Yacht Club, 257 Dyke Road in Green Harbor.
